What's different

Privacy is the default, not a setting

Most browsers ship neutral and make you install extensions and flip switches to get private. Vev ships hardened. Everything below is on the first time you launch it.

Fingerprint resistance

Every copy of Vev presents the same fixed device profile — canvas, WebGL, audio, fonts, timezone, and platform are pinned. The spoof runs in the page and in web workers and service workers, so a background script can't leak your real GPU or core count and give you away.

No WebRTC IP leaks

WebRTC can quietly reveal your real IP even behind a VPN. Vev limits it to the public interface and mDNS-masks your LAN address everywhere; private windows remove WebRTC entirely.

On-device AI phishing guard

A real trained model reads the URL and the page content to catch a site pretending to be your bank. It runs locally in microseconds, learns from your choices, and never sends anything to a server.

Ad & tracker blocking

Network-level blocking with a live count in the Dynamic Island — the nudge that drops from the top. Tap it to see exactly what was blocked and allow anything you trust, per site.

Real private windows

Private browsing always opens a separate window with its own session — never mixed with your normal tabs — with switches that hold for the whole private run.

Encrypted vault

History, bookmarks, and saved passwords are sealed on disk with AES-256-GCM. Nothing syncs anywhere; the key never leaves your machine.

How Huma works

No model provider, no telemetry. The whole thing is a ~1 KB model bundled in the browser.

Reads the page

Scores the URL with a trained neural net, then reads the loaded page. A site dressed up as a brand you trust, on the wrong domain, gets flagged before you can type your password.

Refines with you

When you allow a flagged site or a confirmed-bad host appears, Huma applies a small on-device update to a personal adapter. Your corrections stay on your machine.

Summarizes any page on-device with no hallucination, and quietly pre-warms the site you're likely to visit next so it opens faster.
